2025 Honda Prologue
The 2024 debut of the 100% electric Honda Prologue made a quite an impression, with the strong sales to prove it. Of course, a big priority for most EV buyers is range, and the Prologue’s has been increased for this second model year. The FWD Prologue can now travel up to 308 miles on a full charge (an increase from last year’s 296), while the AWD version reaches 294 miles (up from 281). As far as its output, the front motor now makes 220 horsepower (versus 2024’s 212) while making 7 more lb.-ft of torque. With AWD, the 2025 Prologue makes 300 hp and 355 lb.-ft.
Beyond those performance enhancements, all of the strengths that made the 2024 Prologue a standout in its class hold strong. It’s packed with standard features like wireless phone charging, a Google-based infotainment system with wireless compatibility, and multi-zone climate control. An upgraded Bose audio system is available. This midsized all-electric crossover is a practical, feature-laden choice for a wide range of eco-conscious buyers.

Trims and Mechanical Specs
The 2025 Prologue is available in three trims: the EX, Touring, and Elite. The front motor, as mentioned, boasts an 8-hp increase in the FWD version and a 12-hp bump with AWD. An 85-kWh battery pack is included on all trims, enabling a range of 308 miles with FWD and 294 miles with AWD. The regenerative braking paddles can be used to add a small amount of charge back to the battery to incrementally extend range.
As far as charging, the Prologue’s battery accumulates 62 to 65 miles of range with every 10 minutes on a Level 3/DC fast charger — that math shows off an increase in charge from 20% to 80% in about 35 minutes. The ’25 Prologue is also capable of towing a small trailer with a total weight of up to 1,500 pounds.

The EX sets a high bar for entry level trims, as it comes with wireless device charging, heated front seats, key fob-activated remote start, an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, two zones of automatic climate control, push-button start, heated exterior mirrors, windshield wipers with rain-sensing technology, a ten-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and LED exterior lighting with auto-on/off headlamps. The two higher trims also get front parking sensors; rear pedestrian alert and a surround-view monitor are only found on the Elite. Every Prologue trim has stability control, a full set of airbags, a rearview monitor, traction control, and anti-lock brakes.
Information and Connectivity
The 2025 Prologue’s home base for multimedia is an 11.3-inch Google-based touchscreen system, affording direct access to Google Assistant, Google Maps, and other desirable apps. Wireless smartphone connection (Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) comes standard, as do SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot access, and optional HondaLink connected services.
The EX gets its audio through a six-speaker unbranded system, while a top-of-the-line Bose unit with 12 speakers graces the Touring and Elite.
